RESILIENCE…WHAT’S NEXT?

The situations of disruption and instability are making even more pressing the need for solidarity and change in our societies and consequently for social innovation. Socially innovative companies encourage co-construction, decompartmentalization and collective intelligence. These are all principles that make it possible to adapt to exceptional circumstances such as the current global pandemic, by inventing new models for the economy to come. Their ability to analyze needs and to mobilize local resources to meet these needs is proving to be invaluable in promoting the resilience of territories and initiating the ecological and social transitions now pressing. How can we amplify this invention of possibilities?

The fifth edition of this international gathering is inviting entrepreneurs, academics and consultants to demonstrate the ability of social innovation to inspire a responsible and sustainable recovery. Its unprecedented digital format will be an opportunity to invite speakers from Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as from other countries.

The International Gathering on Social Innovation (RISS) was launched in 2013 by the cooperative enterprises network, in partnership with the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region. Aiming to foster thinking and the sharing of experiences, it brings together some 200 attendees every other year in Montpellier.
