The Latvian Social Integration Fund has presented a roadmap and action plan for a Competence Centre for Social Innovation (CCSI).
The strategy and action plan of the Latvian CCSI aims to promote the improvement of the ecosystem of social innovations in Latvia, laying the foundations for the creation of the CCSI. The fundamental role of the Latvian CCSI is to ensure that the parties involved in the social innovation process have sufficient access to the necessary competencies in Latvia and outside Latvia.
The strategy outlines functions and activities for the Latvian CCSI, including capacity building, development of a cooperation network, exchange of experience and transfer of knowledge, synergy creation, and organisation and management of the financing for social innovation.
